This Is A Premium Made Window Gear Flex Rack.
This Is The Plastic Flex Window Gear Or Otherwise Known As The Flex Track That Helps The Window Go Up Or Down By Attaching To The Gear Of The Window Motor Of Each Door & Then Lifting Up The Window Channel To Raise The Window Up & Down.
These Direct Fit Plastic Flex Rack Gears Are Correct & Will Fit All Jeep Grand Wagoneers & Full Size Wagoneers & Cherokees & Jeep J-10 & J-20 Pick Up Trucks From 1983-1991 & CERTAIN 1982 MODELS-IF YOU HAVE A 1982-MODEL JEEP-OPEN YOUR DOOR PANEL & INSPECT TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS STYLE.
Please specify which side as they are DRIVER SIDE OR PASSENGER SIDE & DOES NOT MATTER IF IT IS THE FRONT DOOR OR THE REAR DOOR.
THIS FLEX RACK COMES WITH THE PIVOT BOLT & DOES NOT REQUIRE THE PLASTIC HOLDER AS IT IS ALL PART OF THE FLEX RACK WHICH DOES NOT COME WITH THE FACTORY ORIGINAL ONE. THIS WILL SAVE YOU ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE PRICE OF THE FLEX RACK ALONE IF YOU ARE MISSING THE BOLT.
IT IS READY TO INSTALL AS IS.
We also recommend to purchase SYL-GLYDE when Installing the New Flex Rack As It Will PRESERVE The Gear Longer From HARSH WEATHER CONDITIONS WHETHER IT BE FROM THE DRY HEAT CAUSING IT TO CRACK PREMATURELY OR THE EXTREME COLD WINTERS WHICH MAKES THEM BRITTLE & WILL CRACK WHEN VERY COLD IF NOT LUBRICATED WITH THIS VERY SPECIFIC FLEX RACK SYL-GLDE GREASE MAKING THE NEW FLEX RACK STAY FLEXIBLE LIKE THE NAME TO WORK & PERFORM SMOOTHLY GOING UP & DOWN WHEN USING YOUR WINDOW.
WE ARE SELLING THESE FLEX RACK GEARS AS EACH OR AS A COMPLETE SET OF 4 OR EVEN AS A COMPLETE SET OF 4 FLEX RACKS WITH A 4OZ TUBE OF SYL-GLIDE WHICH IS PLENTY TO DO ALL 4 DOORS TWICE IN A LIFETIME.

Overall good product and the instructions that TGW are helpful. It was nice to have them as well as my Haynes manual.
- Make sure you have the grease when installing.
- Note that this model does NOT use the same T15 Torx bolt to attached to the window support. The instructions from TGW have not been updated. This unit slides on and twists into place rather than screwing in.
- You might have to grind the edges of the the rail that the Flex Gear slides onto, just to smooth out the edges so they don't catch on each and every gear.
Overall good product.
worked well with the used parts we were able to find for our project
Rear passenger window was acting up, wouldn’t go down or stay up all the way. My initial inspection revealed the motor worked but the flex gear was broken. Removing the old one was easy, installing the new one was a bit difficult. Watched a video on YouTube that showed the best way to install it and I was on my way to a working window. I would recommend this product. 1988 Jeep GW.
The Flex track was the perfect fit for my door! Glad it came with instructions, but they are a bit confusing initially. You can install this without disconnecting the regulator, and window from the lifter bar.
These flex tracks are awesome. Yeah, it's a PITA to replace these, but the instructions that come with the track are easy to follow and i suggest using the extra lube for the track. The *ONLY* issue I had was on the driver's side rear track. I had to order 2 driver's side rear because I made a mistake and broke one. But, in both cases at the end of the track, again only the drivers rear side, had an extra bit of plastic that prevented it from going onto the metal track. A quick bit of cutting with a dremel and it went great from there. Great product.
The power window gear strap worked well
Windows work great. The installation is a bit tricky and time consuming, but the flex gear comes with good instructions,. Be sure to use either the lube they suggest or a lithium grease to make sure windows work smoothly.
The OEM are a pain to remove from the lower glass frame extension slot. This new design pops and pivots right in.
I only wish that they were molded with nylon or aramid strands in their length for added strength.
Great product no problem with it just wish they would make it out of a different material to last longer
